"The food was awesome, everyone loved it. Everything was presented artistically, but also tasted SO GOOD- we had guests going back for seconds and thirds. The decor was beautiful- I love that you get an all-inclusive package that you're able to customize. When the sun set the twinkle lights glowed and there was even a firepit to stand around. It truly looked like a magical fairy-land - which was exactly what I wanted. We chose simple ivory linens to go with my dress and give everything a fresh, springtime feel and their "funky" lanterns for lighting.
Melissa was in charge and she was so helpful and listened to everything we wanted. She and the entire staff were really helpful and made everyone feel so welcome that we were the last people out.
I would definately reccomend them to anyone looking for a great party!"

We just want to say, thank you for everything! You went above and beyond the call of duty--Flavia was so attentive and so sweet, Rick was so gracious and the rest of the staff was awesome! We had the most beautiful wedding at the Rincon Beach Club in Carpinteria on June 29th. We were lucky enough to have Melissa Sylvester as our wedding coordinator. She was professional, funny, caring but mostly right on her game. If you are lukcy enough to have your wedding at the beautiful Rincon Beach Club, Mel is your girl! We also had the most wonderful photographers - Tim Halberg. Tim was also professional, punctual, friendly and made us feel so at ease... and the pictures he created were gorgeous! You can find less expensive photographers, but the pictures are what last forever and honestly we would have paid double to get the pictures we did from Tim. We had our picture website set up by the time we got back from our honeymoon! We were able to send the picture link to all our friends and family for them to order as well. It was absolutly perfect. We also had Tim do our engagment photo's and we still get comments on them (they were our save-the-dates!). Tim Halberg was one of the bet investments we made and again - you will not be disppaointed. We also used lafemmecinema for our videography and Angelina was right on top of her game! Seriously - she was also professional and clear and made us feel so comfortable. We were sure if we were even going to use a videographer, but we did and we are SO glad! Angelina worked with us with our payments and she even came to the rehearsal at no extra cost! Like Tim Halberg she was right on time and a joy, absolute joy, to work with.
Again, if you go Rincon Beach Club (the most beautiful venue...breathtaking), Tim Halberg and Lafeemecinema - you will be 100% satisfied!

I fell in love with RBC from some photos of the fountain and garden and we decided to book with them after reading about the food (they started as a catering company so it’s delicious) and staff. Our coordinator, Melissa, was amazing. She was a great resource during the planning process and always quick to respond to any emails or phone calls. She made sure everything ran smoothly on our wedding day- we were actually ahead of schedule. We also liked that RBC only books one wedding a day and we could hold the ceremony and reception at one location (95% of our guests were out of town so we didn’t want to add any extra driving to their day). We received so many compliments on the location, food, and staff.

I met with a couple other florists but Camille caught my vision for our wedding flowers better than anyone else and was competitively priced (1/3 less than another quote). Camille was easy to work with and has an incredible eye for combining colors and flowers.

My husband and I met with Michelle early on in our planning and were impressed with her photos, albums, and how easy she was to work with. Michelle shoots both film and digital, which was important to us. Michelle works quickly with posed pictures so you can actually enjoy your wedding and spend time with your guests- which she captures as well. I have been to wedding where the photographer kept pulling the bride and groom aside for more photos and the event seemed to drag. Michelle actually had us into the reception ahead of schedule and when we slipped out for sunset photos we were back in almost no time at all. We loved our engagement photos and can’t wait to see our wedding photos.

Ashley is based out of Monterey and travels to the central coast (SLO area) quite often but we were her first SB area wedding. We love what we have seen of her work for weddings and last year she made a summer camp video for a camp I directed. Ashley also made us a short “save the date” video for our wedding website. She and her staff are easygoing, fun to work with and very unobtrusive. We can’t wait to see our video, complete with love story interviews and a romance shoot on the beach.

We tasted cakes at 5 different bakeries and Christine’s were my favorite. Others were dry or tasted like they were from the grocery store with jam fillings. It was hard to narrow the flavors down, but we ended up getting 1) devil’s food cake with chocolate ganache, white chocolate mousse, raspberries, and hazelnuts and 2) vanilla chiffon with white chocolate mousse, raspberries, and lemon curd. The cake was both beautiful and delicious.

From the first time I talked with Mar I knew I would enjoy working with her. She not only had ideas for my hair and makeup, but gave me suggestions for deciding on colors and a dress. I took pictures in for my trial and she made me more beautiful than I could have imagined. I also found the brooch for my hair at their studio. Mar and her team arrived on time and had us ready 30 minutes early. My makeup and hair stayed perfect for the entire day and evening- even with our outdoor ceremony and reception.

The Rolls is gorgeous and perfect for our wedding. Dan was very professional- even has a special driver uniform. We loved that there was no minimum, just an hourly rental. Plus he let us split the hour up- great for arriving in the car and then taking some pictures later after I was ready.
Hotel Block Rooms- Best Western Carpinteria
I called quite a few hotels and it seemed like no one blocks rooms anymore. Best Western does and they don’t make you guarantee them or give a credit card number. They release extra rooms 1 month prior to the wedding.
