Frequently Asked Questions

The wedding will be on the beach. What is the extra cost and what is included in that cost?

An open bar is planned. One hour during the reception. Closed for dinner. Then opened after dinner until 11:30. From your experience, about how much can we expect to pay?

Why is an average beer/wine bar est. $1200. for 75 people? That seems quite high.

The Ceremony Package contains white chairs....what specifically are these? (Are these the chairs for the bride and groom, or the white covers for all the chairs?)

Will there be decorations on the outside chairs on the beach?

On the sheet that states "Rincon Beach Club Upgrades" there is a Ceremony Planning and Direction fee of $350.00. Perhaps we were mistaken, but we thought that was part of your job description. If we are wrong, can you please tell us what we can expect from you without the upgrade?

How many wines can I select for my event?

What beers do you carry?

The ceremony on the beach is $1450.00. This includes all the same things as the ceremony here at the Club ($1,050). The additional cost is due to the logistics and additional labor of a beach ceremony. This cost is for the beach on Santa Claus Lane.

Regarding the bar, there are three options that I sent over in your estimates. The first is for hosted beer and wine for 1,200. The second is for hosted beer and wine with a cash full bar at $1,125 and then lastly a hosted full bar at $1,500. All of the options are for the bar to open once the ceremony is completed and to stay open until a half hour before the event conclusion. The bar and the music are schedule to conclude at the same time, half hour prior to guest departure. Our policy, when it comes to the bar is to start the event and conclude the event in the same way. We wouldn't open the bar, then close the bar, then re-open the bar. That would be confusing to your guests and awkward for the flow of the event. The best solution if you're concerned about guests spending to much at the bar would be to hosted beer and wine, for the entire length of the evening and have a cash full bar, allowing your guests the opportunity to buy their own gin and tonic's if they wish.

We charge on consumption only so you will only be charged for what is consumed. This estimate is based on our house wine at $20.00 per bottle and beer at $5.00 per bottle. This also includes champagne for the toast and soda's at the bar. This averages out to 16.00 per person at the bar. Again, if your guests drink less then you will only be charged for the amount consumed. And the same hand, if they drink more, you will be billed for the balance.

The Ceremony Package contains white chairs....what specifically are these? (Are these the chairs for the bride and groom, or the white covers for all the chairs?)
Our standard ceremony chairs are a white wood folding chair. They do not have chair covers. Chairs are provided for all guests, plus a few extras, for the ceremony. The bride and groom will not require chairs as they will be standing at the alter/arch.

What's included is an event director. Your event director is there to help you plan the reception, work with your vendors prior to and the day of and to be there for the reception to make sure things run smoothly. For example, checking in the cake, letting the father of the bride know he'll be toasting in 5 minutes, getting the wedding party ready for their grand entrance, touching base with the DJ and letting him/her know when to make announcements. We're there prior to and the day of to guide you though the event process. If you wish us to coordinate the ceremony that is an additional charge of $350.00. This includes us planning and directing the ceremony. If you do not require us to participate in the planning of the ceremony then we will have a meeting prior to determine the set up of the ceremomny. We will deliver and set up the chairs, but an event director will not be there to tell your bridal party when to walk, to cue the music or to direct people where to sit.

How many wines can I select for my event?
Please select as many wines as you'd like. We suggest that for dinner you select one red and one white for simplicity in service. It's a fun idea to have several wines during cocktails and the reception for your guests to taste.
